ONE ALTERNATIVE releases CHANGES to reintroduce listeners with its music catalog. Past recordings "Take Note" (1988) and "Yet To Be" (1996) are still available on compact disc and cassette but "Greenlawn" (1986) and "Shadows" (1990) are currently out of print. CHANGES includes three pieces from each of these four recordings giving a rebirth to music that will deservedly get another listen. Also included is an arrangement of Ave Maria (the J. S. Bach version) which barely saw the light of day on a Christmas sampler released back in 1990. The introduction if the twelve-string guitar into One Alternative's music palette is heard through the newly recorded title track, CHANGES.

In the liner notes for CHANGES, John Diliberto of the syndicated radio program Echoes sums up One Alternative and this release by saying: "It's the timeless aspect that makes One Alternative's music from Greenlawn sound as fresh as their latest. It would've sounded as perfect 900 years ago as it will in the 21st century.

Acoustic Guitar magazine in their April 1999 issue reviewed Changes saying that "Two-guitar fingerpicking arrangements abound, creating a rich textural bed for these mature, well-played compositions. The recording is first rate and the entire work is thoroughly enjoyable."
