Mark Oppenlander :
Solo Guitarist
At the age of seven, Mark Oppenlander began his guitar studies at Taylor's Music Store in West Chester, PA. After graduating Unionville High School he attended the College of Music at Temple University where he received his Bachelor of Music Degree in 1983. At Temple he met Oboist Jill Haley with whom he co-founded the music trio ONE ALTERNATIVE.
In addition to being a member of ONE ALTERNATIVE, Mark also plays as a soloist. His arsenal of guitars include a nylon 6-stringed classical, a steel 6-stringed acoustic, and a 12-stringed acoustic. The styles of music demonstrated at one of Mark's solo gigs range from traditional classical to improvisations on the 12 string guitar.

Mark is also a full time guitar teacher at Taylor's Music Store in West Chester, PA. He specializes in Classical, Folk and Rock styles, children to adults / beginner to advanced are welcome.
